Huan and Srutha's paper accepted by Nature Communications

Our newest paper "Coordinated peptidoglycan synthases and hydrolases stabilize the bacterial cell wall" has been officially accepted by Nature Communication! In this paper, we talked about how an aPBP, when binding to the antibiotic moenomycin, activates a PG peptidase and collapses rod shape. Huan and Srutha are first authors with equal contribution and our undergraduate student, Emily Ng, is the third author.
